Fall Line Events Ltd. will be working with several major international stakeholders to provide Ground Transportation services during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina and is recruiting multiple roles to assist with the transport system throughout the Games.

Job Description:

Dispatchers are office-based and responsible for taking reservations directly from staff, inputting reservations into the Transport Booking System, issuing confirmations and run orders to allocated drivers, briefing and dispatching vehicles and monitoring the progress of all active rides.

Duties include:
  • Taking accurate ride orders
  • Scheduling driver/ and vehicle assignments
  • Liaising with passengers
  • Driver briefing – run orders and destination/pick up locations
  • Assisting with knowledge of all quantity and type of vehicles within the fleet
  • Monitor daily road and traffic conditions
  • Maintaining a friendly and efficient Motor Pool office
 
Dispatchers must manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment, remaining calm and polite during peak periods. Dispatchers will be assigned to a Motor Pool office where different duties will be required. Each Dispatcher will be primarily responsible for his/her assigned position but must be able to perform all the above tasks as necessary. These positions report directly to the transport manager.
This role would suit dedicated people who enjoy a high-pressure office environment, but also want to be involved in the Olympic Games and are able to commit to long hours and weekends.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: 
  • Excellent logistical and organizational skills
  • Communication skills to liaise with staff, guests and drivers
  • Great overall IT skills as well as Excel & Word experience
  • Previous Olympic or transport experience useful (but not necessary)
  • Quick-thinking and ability to react fast to plan changes
  • Italian language a bonus
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the Olympics schedule.  Working hours may be up to 72 hours per week and up to 7 days per week.during the Games
